How are you all? I’m amazing, wonderful, feeling happy again. Since my last post:
One of my very best friends, Rochelle, got married, and I got to spend the day by her side
Mom came to visit and we saw how horrifying SnapChat’s FaceSwap could be
I took an awe-inspiring trip to Maui with my family (an entire photo review of my trip coming soon!)
I ate delicious gumbo at Portland’s very own Montage, famous for their leftover art
The girls came over, and we dyed my hair blue!
Sean and I built a dresser, among other new furniture additions to our apartment
I took Sean for his first night out in Portland and had a blast
I rocked a black lip, and a blue, and a navy, and felt amazing.
Went to the Oregon Zoo to visit all the cuddly animals
And I spent the 4th of July at the St. Paul Rodeo with three of my very favorite humans!
I took a much needed hiatus to work on myself and really figured out what I want from this little space of the internet. I love the creative freedom of owning a blog. I love the incredible detail and devotion I put into my posts and into my photos. I love the memories I’ve made from creating makeup tutorials or dragging my friends around the state for photo ops. I think I was so incredibly focused on making my blog a career that I forgot about the bits I loved so much about it. I look forward to the many adventures to come, and I hope you do as well! Thanks for sticking with me through everything.
What have you done while I was away? I want to hear all about it! Leave a comment below or send me photos via Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter. I love you all so so much.
